We woke up this morning after a pretty mild night after all and were able to dock near the downtown where we've docked before. This will be our third time here and it is a tradition that we go up to North Cape (Nordkapp) again. It claims to be the northernmost city in Europe, and I won't dispute that. Opened our curtains to see this next to us. I know it's only a tug boat, but it looked rather menacing to me. The drying fish heads were right outside the walk to the buses. I suspect they are just for show, but they're impressive nonetheless. The guide on our RIB trip the other day said they dry these, then grind them into a powder and ship them to Romania, where they are used in a special dish. I'll take his word for it, Our bus up to Nordkapp left at 12:15 pm. It's about a 40-minute ride through some pretty bleak countryside up a very narrow and sometimes windy road.
